Throughout our Disney Cruise back in April, we had many fun character spottings. We even had to get our picture made with a few of them. Unfortunately for my husband, Jasmine was no where to be seen except during the Broadway style production of Aladdin.
Speaking of Aladdin! Oh and there’s Ariel too! Ariel was part of a Princess Line-up in the Atrium one afternoon and we missed her but then she headed over to the D-Lounge for more photos and we caught her with no line!
Our first actual character siting was already mentioned in an earlier post. We saw Cinderella in the Atrium during Embarkation day!
She was precious. Perfect, in every way. Disney does such a good job of casting for the characters and the cast members clearly get into character.
On one of the at sea days, all the Princesses lined up in the atrium. They stood there for hours while excited little girls (and boys) waited in line to meet their favorite Disney princess. There was Cinderella and Belle and Snow White…
…and Tiana! She could twirl her dress and fan it out so that when she sat, there was a perfect spot for children to pose with her.
And then there was Minnie. The peacock dress she is wearing is only found on the Disney Fantasy. It is the same gown her statuette is wearing that is found in the Atrium.
Finally, Captain Mickey. No Disney Cruise would be complete without a Captain Mickey picture. He even blew me a kiss.
Who is your favorite Disney character? What are some other characters you’ve seen on a Disney cruise?
This is part of a series from our Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy. To see more, click here.

Chip n Dale! Dale munched on my waterproof case while waiting to board the ship on Castaway, then both of them posed with us all by ourselves.

I am not ashamed to admit that I get just as excited as an 8 year-old when I see Disney characters. The princesses really are adorable – I love watching them act the part! Snow White was my favorite… she was all bouncy and happy and skipping around. The little girls were totally in awe of her.
