1. We kept our best buddies two Corgi’s over the past week – Dexter and Dewey – while they were in Hawaii. So count it…FOUR, we had four of them for the last 10 days! It was TON of fun!! We’ve kept them before so they are all besties too and they all have a blast playing in the back yard. Neighbors are always like, “Did You Get ANOTHER ONE?” Lulz. Our boys were ready for mega cuddles with just us though!!
2. Target and CVS are joining forces. How do we feel about it?
3. An Olive Garden Food truck? Yep, they’ve jumped on the band wagon and dared to show their faces in Boston’s Italian neighborhood. Sounds like they want to get cut by some
4. Our poor front door. Remington & a friend from work ripped out our front door to repair some water damage. It turned out to be a HUGE undertaking and we ended up having to board the front of the house up with OSB while our door frame was being patched up. Hoping that will be done this weekend so we are no longer the Clampetts of our neighborhood!
5. So yeah…sorry for no Thailand posts this week. See number 3. Blown UP, our week has blown up!
7. So much for that summer slump. OITNB is back and we finished are blowing through season 3. It’s not my fave season, but it’s amazing how characters I used to hate, I now have an emotional attachment to and vice versa. And it ended on an emotional high! The new season of True Detective started last weekend – and it started pretty slow and very confusing just like the first season. I can tell it’s gonna take a few episodes to really get going, but I think they will tie it all together. Also, Ballers. We watched the first episode of that and it’s got us hooked. It’s so intriguing to see things from a different perspective like what do football players do after their very short career is over…
8. Are you caught up on Game of Thrones yet??? Cause I really feel the need to talk about that last episode. Seriously have some thoughts…just like the rest of the internet {WARNING – SPOILERS, Darling}. And then there’s this {No Spoilers here}.
9. Did you notice the new neat-o button on my recipe post this week that says “Shop This Recipe”? We signed up with Chicory to begin using their fancy plugin that allows you to shop a recipe. Basically you can make yourself a grocery list from all of the recipes you add each week and send it to yourself via email or print it out. How cool is that???
10. OMG how cute is this mug? I NEED it and then I need to try this ice cream flavored tea collection – you guys know my obsession with ice cream – or this cotton candy flavor. Because those flavors need a special sprinkles mug…right???
11. Totally agree. Why did these horrible things return?? They all needed to die in their respective decade never to return.
12. We got some Sevin dust spray and I sprayed the heck out of those Japanese beetles on my rose bushes a few days ago. Now they are all dead and hopefully that’s how they’ll stay! It seems to have worked without harming my plant.
13. We will be in Hilton Head in August for a few days – so if you’ve got recommendations on what to do and where to eat I can’t wait to hear them!
14. Made this one pan salmon from Damn Delicious for dinner this week and it did not suck. At all. Definitely a keeper for busy weeknights. What healthy one-pan dishes do you love to whip up?
15. I’ve started adding a Green Superfood blend to my shakes every morning to see if I get any benefits and to make sure I am getting all the nutrients I need when I might not eat enough veggies. I tried this one and really like it – it doesn’t add an overwhelming flavor to my shake and it might even be drinkable just mixed in water. It is mostly organic ingredients and I can understand every ingredient listed. Plus the price is right. I’ve seen a slight increase in my energy, but nothing crazy yet.
14. Have you heard of the new Amazon Echo? It’s amazing how much our world has changed just in my lifetime because I can remember when computers weren’t a common thing and now we have this type of technology that makes me thing of Star Trek and then I wonder how advanced we will get and what our world will be like in just another 30 years. Either way, this thing looks crazy cool. But is the next step voice activated chips in our brains that reads our thoughts and processes information to us? Okay, sorry, too far?

Gotta be one of my favorite posts on your blog! Love the honesty, too. With how “trendy” corgis are now, I doubt many people are fully aware that while they are rewarding, they are certainly not for someone looking only for a quiet, furry butt to warm up a couch cushion.
