See, I told you I’d get to it.
Doubters. Always be doubtin’
Anyway…I could go on and on about myself, so I’ll just put a couple more of MINE in here before I switch gears to my lovely wife.
Downtown Louisville, KY. That’s the Belle’s paddle set against the Railroad Bridge
Here we’ve got the mighty, mighty Biltmore, reflected in it’s garden pond. So. Totally. Boss.
And lastly from me…Ole Honest Abe in the distance. Taken from the WWII Memorial.
So, now we get to move onto to my lovely. While landscapes seem to be my forte, she has a slightly different eye than eye do :p – She’s more detail oriented, but her world travels have also allowed for some awesomeness too.
So, she gets to kick it off in Africa. Way cooler than the fact I’ve been to Abilene, Texas three times.
Waltzing around the resort on our honeymoon, she snaps a Hibiscus.
And…..a couple from the Downtown Louisiville area
And from our trip to Savannah….as we first arrive (LOVE this one)
A flower, and a door. Downtown Salisbury, NC
And I leave you with some daisies…

>Stunning, guys… really. So, um, when are the two of you starting that photography studio? 😉
Tim says
>How do you manage to get such a blue sky when taking a photo of the sun? Do you have a filter or did you do some heavy editing?Great photos by the way.
Kara Brown says
>Thanks Jessie!Tim – no editing other than maybe a tweak here and there to brightness and contrast. Getting such a blue sky comes from finding the right balance of aperture, shutter speed with a decent sensor and color meter (last two are features of the camera). Neither of us edit our photos very much, not at this point anyway. I like the honesty of capturing a great picture in that instant and not having to change it a lot. Editing too much can deteriorate the quality of the photo unless you are a pro and really know what you are doing in photoshop. Thanks by the way.
